Another Tim Burton-Johnny Depp movie that's worth queuing for on May 11. Dark Shadows is about Barnabas Collins, a vampire cursed by a witch out of jealousy, who came back after centuries only to be pursued again by the same witch.
This movie is about a vampire who fought for his family and his right and another proof that you cant force someone to love you, not even putting a spell on him.
Why do I like Johnny Depp? He doesn't just act, he becomes the character he portrays when he's onscreen. I can barely recognize him in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. He scared me in Sweeney Todd, The Demon Barber of Fleet Street and Secret Window. He made my eyes roll, made me laugh out loud and puzzled me in his Pirates movies. Growing up watching Alice in Wonderland in cartoons (almost every other afternoon), I think he gave justice to Mad Hatter.
Johnny as a vampire in modern day setting will be a sure hit, just as sure as I was that Helena Bonham Carter will be in that movie too, and as sure as my siblings will be heading in theaters on that big day.
